Bachelor of Entrepreneurship (Retailing) with Honours

INTRODUCTION

This program of study will be able to provide the necessary human capital in the retail industry of the State. The Bachelor of Entrepreneurship (Retail) Degree Program with

Honors will provide students with another branch more specific in the field of entrepreneurship. This program is expected to generate new entrepreneurs in the retail industry.

This programme to give students theoretical knowledge and practical skills on entrepreneurial values and concepts for them to be a person who are efficient and analytical in

both entrepreneurship and conventional retailing field as well as to encourage further studies in this field in line with the rapidly changing economic environment. Furthermore,

this programme intends to generate graduates who will be experts in retailing, retail management, activities technology, and communication (dealing with consumer, supplier,

community, and government). The programme’s curriculum is formed to inculcate students with entrepreneurial culture and values in business in line with its intention to

acculturate continuous learning and empowering graduates in being more competitive.

 

The objective of this program is to produce graduates who have the following characteristics:

• Mastering knowledge in the field of management and entrepreneurship that can be applied in the retail industry;

• Applying the latest technology (software & hardware) in retail operations

• Communicate effectively in three major business languages ​​and be able to use ICT as an entrepreneur;

• Decide critically, creatively and dare to explore innovative and unique solutions;

• Practicing teamwork, having social skills and building entrepreneurial networks;

• Increase the level of education and skills continuously

• Identifying, evaluating and seizing business opportunities and realizing such opportunities in the retail industry;

• Acting ethically in accordance with the guidelines and regulations and professionalism requirements;

• Lead the organization towards excellence in line with the objectives of the organization;
